Tenuta di Argiano
Tenuta di Argiano
The 2004 Brunello has now all gone, but the 2005 is not only
less expensive but also delightfully forward - ideal for a
restaurant wine list, as it provides immediate pleasure the moment
the cork is drawn. For even greater approachability, we'd recommend
the Rosso di Montalcino, and for the more adventurous drinker,
Argiano's delicious and original Non Confunditur, a blend of
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese.
Unmistakeably Italian, it has a delightful international touch
to it. Solengo continues to be a subtle, distinctive and
distinguished wine, whilst the 100% Sangiovese Suolo is a
magnificent example of that grape's awesome potential: powerful but
silky, generous and finely focused.
