Giovanni Blason's lanky, loose-limbed form and ever-smiling face are true clues to his easy-going, laid-back, ever amused attitude towards life. He refers to his father, for example, as The Terminator since Blason senior has a prosthetic arm - which nonetheless functions well enough to prune row after row of vines! Giovanni's endearingly quirky nature seems to find its way into his wines, which are uncomplicated, ever drinkable and positively encourage the imbiber to adopt their creator's good-natured outlook on life.

If I had to describe his wines in musical terms, I'd say that they were Vivaldi in a glass - and more often than not, that's exactly what we're looking for: sheer, joyous, light-hearted pleasure. After all, we don't always want to listen to Wagner!
